Coosheen Golf Club
Coosheen Golf Club is situated about 25 kilometers south of Bantry Bay. It is a very attractive nine-hole parkland course with pictorial panoramic views of the surrounding area.
Views of the Carbery's Hundred Isles, Fastnet Lighthouse, Long Island and Schull harbor and village and lot more can be seen.
The course has 9 brilliant holes with tapered fairways and stretched greens which can be a challenge for all golfers.
As it is designed just next to the sea the weather as well as the wind play an important part when you enjoy a round of golf on the course.
Even if you are able to tackle the 9 holes well the wind is sure to give you competition.
The course is open for visitors between April to October. In case you are here for a week or so you can purchase a weekly ticket for playing.
The golf course boasts of a superb restaurant and bar where you can relax and admire the surrounding view.
There is no doubt; Coosheen is certainly worth a visit.
