Harbour Point Golf Club
Harbour Point Golf Club is built on rolling limestone, perfect for irrigation, and is located some 6 miles from Cork city centre, along the banks of River Lee.
It was chosen as the best new public golf course in 1991 by the Golf Digest issue and has matured and improved since then.
You can get a breath taking view of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains.
The exceptional grass tee practice range and a 21 bay driving range which is floodlit gives you an opportunity to warm up before your round, and an opportunity for many of the locals to practice after work.
Harbour Point golf course is a well established and a leading championship golf course which looks over the extensive landscape of Cork.
The Paddy Merrigan layout and design is indeed a test even for the best golfers. You have to meet the demands of the par 3's to the precision, which is necessary, for the rest of the tree lined holes.
