Skibbereen Golf Club
Skibbereen Golf Club is located in the western part of Cork and is just 3km from Skibbereen town set against the backdrop of the beautiful Lough Hyne.
Originally it was a 9 hole course established in 1935, and the club was only officially inaugurated as a 18 hole course by the President of Ireland Dr. Patrick Hilary in 1993.
With long holes on the old nine and short and tight holes on the new nine, it can present a very changing game of golf for golfers of all abilities.
The greens, especially the back nine are protected by bunkers and which catch numerous pushed and pulled iron shots.
Relax in the clubhouse after your round with a creamy pint of stout and a great menu for a meal or snacks.
