Ballybofey and Stranorlar Golf Club

Ballybofey and Stranorlar Golf Club is not a long course designed on only 5,500 yards of lush parkland and is regarded as one of the unknown gems of Ulster’s brilliant golf courses.

It is not a very long course but a course you should play on especially with its natural panoramic beauty.

The course is situated on the coast Lough Alann and trails the form of the adjacent countryside.

The course looks simple but which can take a golfer by surprise with its design in this natural and beautiful area.

PC Carr has planned an eye-catching course with a view of the Finn Valley and the neighboring Donegal Mountains.

To come up with a good score you have to drive straight amidst the majestic trees as most of the fairways are lined by them.

Ballybofey and Stranorlar Golf Club was established in 1957 with a new club house, restaurant and bar constructed in 1994 which is very spacious and adds to the ambience of the club.
