Bundoran Golf Course

Bundoran Golf Course is situated 22 miles north of Sligo on Sligo-Derry road and is positioned on a rocky peninsula between Bundoran Beach and Tullan Strand.

The 18 hole par 70 parkland course offers an amazing panorama of the landscape.

The course was initially designed by GL Ballie in 1894 and later re designed by Harry Vardon in 1927.

The course presents a demanding challenge as it runs beside the craggy and scenic Donegal Bay coastline with a combination of sand dunes and surging topography.

The course is bordered by Bundoran Beach on the right and you can enjoy the beauty of Ben Bulben Mountain in the background.

The layout of the course is stunning and the wind becomes a part of the game as it is forever blowing over the course.

It is a brilliant 18 hole course which is developed in two 9 holes loops with the ninth and eighteenth greens positioned very near the clubhouse.
