Letterkenny Golf Club

Letterkenny Golf Club is located on the shores of Lough Swilly only 2 km in the East of Letterkenny and has the some of the most breathtaking views of Lough and the intriguing forested landscape.

In 1999 Donegal Irish Ladies Open was hosted by Letterkenny Golf Club and celebrated golfers like Dale Reid, Pamela Wright tested their skill.

Ireland Golf Courses

The championship course makes full use of the natural diversity of altitude and four holes are incorporated along the banks of Lough Swilly.

You can submerge yourself in the breathtaking panorama from the top seven holes looking over the scenic garland hills.

Eddie Hackett designed course offers a relaxing round of golf with the nature and splendor to give you company. The fairways are well maintained and are broad and bound by old majestic trees.

A new state-of-the-art 10,000 square foot clubhouse was inaugurated in 1998 with catering, bar and conference facilities. It holds on to the charm and personality of an old style gentleman's dwelling with open fireplace and elaborately adorned ceilings.
