Otway Golf Club
Otway Golf Club is located about 15 miles northeast of Letterkenny on the coast of Lough Swilly in County Donegal. It is a 9 hole short parkland course with a diversity of holes.
The course has some short par fours to complicated and deceptive par threes.
It is one of the oldest golf clubs in Ireland and was established in 1893.
It was very difficult to visit this club in the earlier days as it is hidden and very much out of the way but today this hidden gem is a course which is well worth finding.
The breathtaking panorama over Lough Swilly and the impressive Inishowen hills provides a fantastic background to your round of golf.
You can have a brilliant game of golf at reasonable rates and then enjoy the tiny clubhouse with bar and changing facilities.
Otway Golf Club exceptional hole is the 9th where you hit above the sea from the cliff.
