Dun Laoghaire Golf Club

Dun Laoghaire Golf Club is an old course with an attractive 18 hole layout designed by the celebrated Golf Course architect, Harry Colt, in the early 1900.

Numerous trees have been planted on the golf course and the recent landscaping has made the course very challenging and also a pleasure to play for all level of golfers.

Dun Laoghaire is located about seven miles south of Dublin. This is a brilliant parkland golf course designed in a beautiful setting with magnificent views of the Sugar Loaf and the Irish Sea. It is a well maintained golf course, dotted with numerous trees and water features.

A lot of changes have been made in the last few years like planting of trees and additional water areas, which have been positioned close to the 11th, 5th, 8th and 14th holes. This has added to the brilliance of the course.

Every hole in this 18-hole course is a new test for the golfer to enjoy and experience.

Tommy Campbell once recorded the longest drive as an amateur golfer at the par 5, 18th hole here and it is featured in the Guinness book of World Records.
