Forrest Little Golf Club

Forrest Little Golf Club is designed by Fred Hawtree, the renowned golf course architect. It is about six miles north of Dublin, and was established in 1940.

The Club relocated to the present location in 1971 and has undergone a lot of developments, which has led to the refashioning of all the greens to fully sand based ones.

There are numerous difficult holes which have streams, strategically placed bunkers and also some concealed surprises.

You can guess the challenging nature of the course, as it is one of the pre-qualifying golf courses for the Irish Open.

This gently uneven par 71 parkland layout is exemplified by fairways with trees on both sides. There is a lake in front of par three hole 7.

You will have to tackle a number of water hazards on this brilliant course. One of the toughest holes is the par four 18th and has spoiled many a good scorecards.
