Hollywood Lakes Golf Club

Hollywood Lakes Golf Club is located on the outskirts of Ballyboughal village, in North County Dublin. It is a 20 minute drive from Dublin Airport and very convenient for golfers traveling from abroad.

The special feature of the club is the 11 lakes, which have an impact on nine out of the 18 holes.

A lot of changes for the better were made in 2002, which has augmented the difficulty level of the course.

There are 25 new bunkers, new pathways, six new water features and seven tee boxes added to upgrade the course. It has become quite a taxing course where you can enjoy a satisfying game of golf.

It is designed in the south facing and well drained slopes, which allows golfers to play on this parkland course all year round.

The first hole is a beautiful start and you will not need the driver here. It is a 90 degree dog-leg with bunkers on the right.

This is not a characteristic Hollywood Lakes hole; it is one of only two holes where you have to go over a lake to find the green.
