Silloge Golf Club

Silloge Golf Club is a Dublin City Council Parks Department managed course and it has been designed and built for the general public.

This parkland course is just about 6 miles to the north of the centre of Dublin City.

The corporation bought some 80 hectares of farmland in the early 1970's, on the north of a Housing Scheme to make available a good recreational facility for the rapidly growing local population.

The land here is known as Naul Park locally and there were twenty holes earlier in the mid 1970's.

A 9-hole golf course was built in 1984 and this part of the course is known as Silloge. The construction of motorway separated the land and the Silloge Golf Course which came in the north of the road was later developed into eighteen holes in 1995.

It is considered as a very demanding golf course and a great test for golfers of all skills.
