Ballinasloe Golf Club was established in 1894, making it one of the oldest courses in Ireland it is known as a high quality course and is enjoyed by golfers of all levels.

The holes of Ballinasloe Golf Club have been remodeled, making their fairways some of the best in Galway County.

The 2nd hole has a dogleg that may get your attention as if you try to cut the corner, there’s an out-of-bounds penalty for an errant shot.

In addition to that hole, the par 4 fifth hole is very beautiful with its’ raised green and elevated tee.

From the tee you can see panoramic views of the town of Ballinasloe.

Prominent architect Eddie Hackett led the expansion of the golf course in 1984. The club now boasts 18 interesting golf holes due to the varied elevations throughout the course.

Ballinasloe is a well-maintained parkland course, with an excellent clubhouse, trolley rentals, and other facilities to help make your round an enjoyable event.
