Bearna Golf Club

Bearna Golf Club is located in Connemara and offers spectacular views of the hinterlands, the Burren, the bay, and Aran Islands.

The course, which is an 18-hole parkland course, is one of the finest in Ireland.

Bearna Golf Club offers excellent fairways, tee-boxes, and just enough hazards to make your round interesting.

Thirteen of the holes have a water hazard to challenge the golfer with hole 11, for example, being a typical example of a great hole where water challenges the second shot.

Players need to hit a good shot to ensure they’ll clear the Lough Inch Lake to reach the green.
Each hole has it`s own name and story and, in some cases, superstition comes into play.

The Bearna Golf Club not only offers trolleys, buggies, and clubs for rent, but you can also hire a caddie to help you make those tough shot choices.
The clubhouse has a restaurant area and bar for your enjoyment.

In 1996, the Bearna Golf and Country Club was inaugurated. The clubs motto, which is "Failte and Ceol na Fuiseoige leat", translates to "Welcome, and May lark-song accompany you."
