Glenlo Abbey Golf Club
Glenlo Abbey Golf Club is a 9-hole, par 71 parkland golf course opened in 1996 and is located on the lakeside and offers spectacular views of the Lough Corrib.
The golf course has a length of 6502 meters and is situated in a sweeping 138-acre landscape.
Any golf enthusiast, whether a beginner or a professional, will be enthralled by this golf course.
The Glenlo Abbey used to be an ancestral home of the Blake as well as the French families. These families are among the 14 tribes that have lorded over the county of Galway for many centuries.
The golf club offers an excellent championship golf course.
It features double greens and boasts many large lakes and mature trees.
For those who want to stay a while, the club also has a hotel and restaurant.
