Loughrea Golf Club

Loughrea Golf Club is a parkland course designed on 130 acres of green valleys and rolling hills with the Sliabh Aughy Mountains as its majestic backdrop.

Situated in Graigue, the Loughrea Golf Course is 1.5 miles North of the town of Loughrea and only an hour’s drive from the Shannon International Airport.

The course also includes several lakes, a few streams, and an array of bunkers to satisfy any golfer’s thirst for a challenging and interesting round.

The course was designed by Eddie Hackett, and has been modified several times over the years. The latest changes came in 2002 when four new holes were designed, which added about 1000 yards to the course length.

The Loughrea Golf Club has a modern and charming clubhouse to enjoy with a restaurant and a full bar where all are warmly welcomed.

The clubhouse, which offers a friendly atmosphere, overlooks the golf course and has a balcony for excellent views of the course and any competition.
