Ring of Kerry Golf Club
Ring of Kerry Golf Club designed by the world famous Eddie Hackett and is situated in Templenoe a village about four miles west of Kenmare in South Kerry.
The golf course is one of the first to be laid out in Kerry and is beautifully placed with an incredible view of Kenmare Bay.
Eddie Hackett wanted to design a world-class golf course which would be a treat for experienced as well as the average golfer.
It is a challenging course where the holes are strategically placed and golfers have to think before hitting their shots and it is a very gratifying to get it right.
It has been laid out with the mind to host professional golf events, both Irish and European and has been considered for a senior PGA tour.
The Ring of Kerry is well maintained course and there are numerous lakes and streams on this modern parkland course adding to the enjoyment of the holes.
