Castlewarden Golf & Country Club

Castlewarden Golf Club is situated on the Dublin/Kildare road around 16 miles from the centre of Dublin city. It is designed in the high golfing potential area which includes golf clubs like Beech Park, Slade Valley, Bodenstown, and the K Club.

Castlewarden designed by Tom Craddock is an 18-hole parkland course.

He has made use of an array of natural elements like magnificent trees, water hazards and natural countryside to make sure that the golfers have a brilliant and a challenging game of golf.

The outstanding surface quality of the greens here are very suitable for putting and also offer an assortment of playing opportunities.

An accurate shot is a must on the third hole as it has to cross two lakes.

You will be tempted to hit a long shot at the 10th across the water, which may find a watery grave.

You may not find the course very demanding but it is no doubt this 6,690 yards course is a great treat for all golfers.

Castlewarden golf clubs most permanent feature of the course is the greens with numerous restrained undulations that test the golfers putting skill.
