Kilkea Castle Golf Club
Kilkea Castle Golf Club is accessible from Athy, taking a turn from Castledermot off the Dublin Road. This 18 hole par 70 championship parkland course has been designed in the spectacular background of a 12th century castle.
The magnificence of the castle can be seen from every hole you play.
River Griese meanders through the estate weaving into the layout of the golf course, creating a water hazard at almost all holes.
There are two more lakes and bunkers to add to the difficulty on the holes and make them more demanding.
Kilkea Castle Golf Club was established in 1997 and other than the brilliant golfing experience you can also enjoy the hospitality of a well maintained castle hotel with restaurant; health centre and conference facilities are also available.
Kilkea Castle is well known for its manicured fairways and flawlessly maintained greens and tees.
The facilities at the clubhouse are excellent and make preparation to start a game or after a game a complete pleasure.
