Millicent Golf Club
Millicent Golf Club is conveniently located just 30 minutes from Dublin and is described as the driest course in Leinster with breathtaking panorama of Dublin and Wicklow mountains.
It is a brilliant 18 hole USGA specified championship golf course and was established 2001.
Designed by Tommy Halpin, a well known professional golfer as well as an architect, the course is exhilarating for all golfers.
The course offers an assortment of intimidating hazards with well placed bunkers and the river Liffey meandering through the course.
To win the game you need to be meticulous, accurate and most important, be able to hit a great tee shots.
The soil is gravel based which makes sure of excellent natural drainage throughout the year.
Nature has been used to the utmost to increase the difficulty of the course.
The front 9 form the frontier of the course and fully encircle the back 9 which is a little different as it opens with two par 5’s.
Millicent Golf Club is a stunning and an enjoyable course to play.
