Naas Golf Club
Naas Golf Club is located off Naas-Dublin dual carriageway, on road between Johnstown and Sallins. It was established in 1896 as a 9-hole course and was initially in Halverstown but was moved to Kerdiffstown in 1940
This club was known as Kildare Golf Club earlier and was names Naas in 1996.
Naas Golf Club is one of the oldest regional clubs in Ireland, and with passing years it has improved in strength and vivacity. It has been designed on traditional parkland with short grass.
There are numerous magnificent trees with undulating terrain and a few water hazards with testing bunkers.
Jeff Howes the famous golf architect redesigned holes 1 and 11 to 18 in 2002 which have improved the course.
The featured holes on the course are the 11th & 17th with their testing water features.
Bunkers and fairways lined with old trees make Naas a testing but enjoyable course to play.
With the designing of the complete 18 holes the club-house has also been changed completely.
Golfers and all others with them can enjoy the warmth of the bar and lounges.
