Castlecomer Golf Club

Castlecomer Golf Club was completed with its 18 holes in 2003, everyone at Castlecomer Golf Club was sure that creative course designer Pat Ruddy has designed an only one of its kind Golf Course.

As each hole was built it bettered the last in its spectacular style and architecture.

The course is laid out in a 200 year old forest, and is a challenging golf course amalgamated with magnificent view of the local countryside.

Earlier Castlecomer was considered one of the best 9 hole courses and even now it makes a strong case for holding on to its character. It contributes to the test of golf and a challenge to the skill of all golfers.

Thirteen new holes have been added to the new eighteen hole scenic layout with tees and greens built to high standard. The fairways are built on sandy soil with built in irrigation system.

Whatever the weather, the playing conditions are excellent all the year round.
