Limerick County Golf Club

Limerick County Golf Club is a 18 Hole championship golf course situated in the center of the Shannon Region around 27km from Shannon Airport and is also very near the famous courses such as Ballybunion, Lahinch and Waterville.

It was co designed by Irish Ryder Cup Player Des Smyth and Irish Amateur International Declan Brannigan and was inaugurated for play in 1994.

Five holes have been renovated in 2005 and six new teeing areas.

This has resulted in a brilliant golf course and is a treat for any avid golfer.

The 18 hole, par 72 golf course has been praised to the highest standard by astute golfers and is at par with the best parkland courses in the country.

The course ambles over the undulating, sand-based topography, and is open for the golfer throughout the year due to this natural irrigation.

The landscape has been used very well by the architect and gives you some impressive second shots, especially in the front nine holes.
