Limerick Golf Club

Limerick Golf Club is located at Ballyclough on the Southern border of Limerick City about 27km from Shannon Airport and was established by the Scottish Black Watch Regiment and is the oldest course in Limerick.

Limerick Golf Club is very near the well known courses of Ireland like Ballybunion and Waterville.

You will have an easy time in the first two holes and the real challenge begins from the third, it will need two excellent shots to reach the hidden green.

A stream flows through the sixth which makes it a tricky hole forcing golfers to think twice before hitting their shot.

The fairways are lined with numerous big trees and the course has well manicured greens.
Dr. Alister McKenzie has designed wide-ranging holes for the golfers to play a challenging round of golf.

The course is about 6500 yards in length and plays to the par of 72.

Limerick boasts of one of the biggest memberships in the country and was the first golf club in Ireland to win a European title at a senior level.
