Ballyhaunis Golf Club

Ballyhaunis Golf Club was established in 1928 and is situated seven miles from the Village of Knock and is a beautiful and enjoyable 9 hole course.

It is one of those 9-hole courses that is fairly long and disputes the general impression that nine-hole courses do not offer much challenge.

Even though the course only has two par 5s, Ballyhaunis is rather lengthy at 5486 meters, which makes it very enjoyable for those long ball strikers.

Its’ elevated greens, guarded by well-placed bunkers, are tricky to putt and demand extreme accuracy with approach shots.

There are separate tee boxes for the front and back nine giving you the feeling you are playing a full 18-hole course.

Ballyhaunis golf club has a fine clubhouse and visitors will surely experience the warm hospitality of the West of Ireland.
