County Mayo Golf Courses

County Mayo is Ireland‘s third biggest County with the word Mayo derived from the Irish word ‘Maigh Eo’ which means the plain of the yew trees.

Mayo will entice you with its spectacular scenery, sandy beaches and numerous islands and lakes.

The County has been a part of the history of organized farming which is around 5,000 years old. The region has conserved the Neolithic remains and has strong association with the early ministry of St. Patrick.
