Bettystown is a links course in the true sense as it is developed on a patch of land between the Irish Sea and the inland.

The front nine holes of the course play up and down and through the sand dunes which are covered with grass climbing up to almost 30 feet in height.

This is only links golf course in County Meath's and professional tour golfer, Des Smyth began his golf career from here.

The sea breeze and fresh air manipulate the playing conditions and golfers of all handicaps are sure to enjoy a great round of golf as there are some outstanding holes.

Laytown and Bettystown has been a nurturing course for some of the greatest golfing talents and has developed both in size and reputation over the years.
