Moor Park Golf Club
Moor Park Golf Club is situated 28 miles from Dublin and is designed on one of the highest points in Ireland. It is a picturesque course near Boyne Valley and Hill of Tara.
There are 5 man made lakes on the course which come into play on many of the holes.
The golf course is designed by Eddie Hackett who has made a course where the most important feature is the demand for precision to accomplish a good score.
Some of the holes are difficult and you require to position yourself well from the tee in order to make the approach shot easier.
It is quiet an open course and so you are not very likely to lose many balls while playing here.
The historic Hill of Tara can be seen from here because of the height of the course.
