Ballaghaderreen Golf Club

Ballaghaderreen Golf Club is located about 5 kilometers from Ballaghaderreen town and just 30 minutes drive from the Knock Airport. It was originally established in the 1936 and shifted to present site in the 1950s.

It is an enjoyable mature parkland golf course with exciting holes bounded by numerous trees to add to the challenge, as accuracy is the name of the game for managing a decent score.

Ireland Golf Courses

This Paddy Skerritt designed 9 hole course is 5339 meters in length. The course has been set on a comparatively level terrain and there are no big hills to climb and just involves a relaxed walk all the way.

There are no bunkers to trouble you but beware of the tactically placed trees. They play an important role to your score. The greens are not too large but as they are well protected they can test the golfer’s skill.

Ballaghaderreen Golf Club has alternate tees on six of the back nine holes so you really can’t afford to be complacent.
