Enniscrone Golf Club

Enniscrone Golf Club was founded in 1918 and was extended to 18 holes in 1974 by Eddie Hackett. It is a conventional championship links course on the coast of Killala Bay.

The course is located a 55km drive form Sligo Regional Airport.

The course is characterized by unyielding fairways, high dunes, profound bunkers and excellent greens.

The club has a impressive 9 hole course called Scurmore as well as the championship links known as The Dunes.

The course presents an array of holes that will coerce golfers to make use of all the clubs in the bag to manage a respectable score.

The course is dotted with sand dunes and uneven landscape giving you tricky stances to test your golfing skills. Careless shots can create problems for the golfer so accuracy is the name of the game.

Enniscrone has been home to the Men’s and Ladies Irish Close and the West of Ireland Championship.

As the course is designed next to the scenic seaside town of Enniscrone, you can enjoy breathtaking views of Bartra Island, Killala Bay, and sandy beaches with Nephin and the Ox Mountains creating a magical ambience in the background.
