Ballykisteen Golf Club is situated on the main Limerick to Waterford Road, very near the picturesque Glen of Aherlow in the valley of the Galtee Mountains.
This championship course designed by Des Smyth is one of the most sought after golf courses in Ireland. It is set in the centre of the Golden Vale and is suitable for golfers of all handicaps making it a perfect place for any golf outing.
The golfers will have an exciting round as the layout integrates the natural features of the landscape into the architecture.
Brent and Fescue grass has been used here which makes putting a delight.
The golf course was established in 1995 and all seven lakes have been effortlessly included into nine holes.
These water hazards enable the golfers a rich golfing experience, especially for those who love attempting challenges.
Ballykisteen Golf Club has modern drainage facilities which ensure that the 18 hole parkland course can be played on throughout the year.
