Clonmel Golf Club

Clonmel Golf Club is situated in the foothills of the Comeragh Mountains, about 3 miles from Clonmel. This Eddie Hackett designed golf course was opened to play in 1911 and is one of the oldest clubs in Munster.

It was a 9 hole course originally and was extended to 18 in 1973.

It is a brilliant golf course build on a picturesque landscape with demanding holes, luxuriant fairways and generous greens.

You can enjoy the impressive panorama of the Suir Valley, Slievenamon and Ravens Rock. This very interesting layout is still not recognized for what it offers.

At 5768 meters long Clonmel golf course is a test of skill for all golfers with numerous features to add to the difficulty of the course.

The clubhouse has an alpine-like design, was constructed in 1984 and offers excellent restaurant and bar facilities.

Clonmel Golf Club clubhouse can view the fir and pine-covered mountains which is an apt backdrop to it.
