County Tipperary Golf Club
County Tipperary Golf Club is located 10 km towards the West of Cashel in the center of the Golden Vale, the rich dairy land of Ireland and set in the foothills of Cordangan Woods and the Galtee Mountains.
It is an 18 hole parkland course which measures 6380 yards and plays to a par of 71.
The golfer has to be perfect with his shots to come up with a good score as there are numerous trees along the fairways.
The water hazards add to the difficulty with tactically placed bunkers guarding the well maintained greens.
This brilliant course has been designed by Philip Walton who has amalgamated the natural features of forest, parkland and the quietly flowing Multeen River into a challenging golf course.
You will encounter water on 8 holes especially on the par four 4th where the Multeen River tests your golfing skill if you want to reach the green in perfection.
The Multeen is present on the 1st, 4th, 8th and 18th holes also.
County Tipperary has an excellent clubhouse which offers very good service.
