Nenagh Golf Club
Nenagh Golf Club is located around 4 miles north of Nenagh town on the Old Birr road. The sand based hills of Beechwood offer an ideal setting for this outstanding championship course.
It is one of the finest parkland courses in Ireland with the magnificent panorama of the beautiful Tipperary countryside extending from the Silvermines and Arra mountains all the way to Lough Derg.
Nenagh began with a 9 hole course designed by Alister McKenzie and it was Eddie Hackett who designed the first 18 hole course in 1973 with Patrick Merrigan redesigned the course in 2001.
The old and the new have been intermingled to perfection.
The championship course offers a challenging test for golfers of all handicaps.
The holes have been brilliantly designed with picturesque water hazards and a selection of strategically positioned bunkers to offer an exciting game of golf.
There is a well maintained clubhouse where the golfers can enjoy the warm hospitality after a game of satisfying golf.
Nenagh Golf Club can be played all year round as the course has a very solid sub-soil.
