Moate Golf Club

Moate Golf Club is situated in the heart of Ireland, mid-way between Dublin and Galway. It was established in 1900, and shifted to the present location in 1940.

Moate Golf Club offers an uneven landscape with unending panoramic beauty for golfers to enjoy while playing a round.

This parkland course is a popular target of many midlands Golf Societies and there is a growing number of Golf Classics played here.

The 15th hole par 3 is a most difficult hole and you have to be long enough to clear the bunkers and drive straight enough to steer clear of the lake.

The first nine holes of the course are comparatively trickier than the back nine.

The golf course pitch’s an assortment of challenges at the golfers to keep them on their toes during the round.

Moate Golf Club is well-known for its hospitality and friendliness. The clubhouse was added in 1997 and is a perfect place to relax and discuss your round of golf.
