Rosslare Golf Club

Rosslare Golf Club is probably the driest golf course in Ireland. The combination of water and dunes gives you an invigorating panorama of this peninsula course.

The gusty wind here plays an important part in the layout of this Hawtrey and Taylor designed golf course.

Rosslare Golf Links is the concealed nugget of Irish Links Golf Courses. It is located in the sunniest extreme South-East coast of Ireland on a tapered peninsula with the Irish Sea on one side and the vast expanse of Wexford harbor staring on the other side.

With the passing of time the normal comings and goings of the big car-ferries and container ships at Rosslare Harbour is a fascinating source of distraction for the golfers. You can clearly see the dock at Rosslare Harbour.

There are many interesting holes including the dog-leg par 4 first hole and the difficult “Barber’s pole” par 4 eleventh. There are more par 4s to keep you absorbed such as the short thirteenth and the notorious sixteenth.

The narrow eighteenth brings your round to a close.
