It is an amalgamation of more than 90 islands.

It has spectacular mountain peaks which tower over the moors which are scattered with castles and crofts.

You can experience the icy streams flow through the wooded glens right into lochs full of trout and salmon which can be a pleasure for anglers.

Visitors come from all parts of the world to test the rolling links golf courses. Some are played over the beach against the harsh wind. Dunaverty is a brilliant course with fantastic panorama and a lot of challenges.
