Ayrshire Golf Courses

Ayrshire is located on the Firth of Clyde in Scotland. Its boundaries all round are with land and are mainly formed with rivulets, watersheds, and lakes.

Ayrshire has some of the best golf courses in Scotland. Turnberry, Troon and Prestwick and are predominantly well known.

Turnberry Golf Club is the first purpose-built golfing resort in Scotland.

The first British Open Championship was hosted at Prestwick Golf Club in 1860, and Troon Golf Club boasts of five golf courses.
