Kincardineshire is an agricultural and an historic county of Scotland.
It is bordered by the Grampian Mountains in the West and the North Sea in the East.

Stonehaven is the historic county town of Kincardineshire. The name is derived from the ancient castle of Kincardine, which was a stronghold of the Scottish kings.
