West Lothian Golf Courses

West Lothian is a small county located on the Firth of Forth and has an irregular four-sided shape.

The world’s oldest known fossil reptile, an eight-inch lizard-like creature was found here.

The forbidding 15th century Blackness Castle is built on the shores of the Forth which looks like an old ship ready to sail. This castle was generally used as a prison.

People who come to this part of Scotland know that it is the very cradle of golf.

The game was developed on the banks of the Firth of Forth first.
