Platja de Pals Golf Course
Platja de Pals Golf Course is situated in the heart of the Costa Brava about 40 kilometers from Girona and is an older course opened for play in 1966.
FW Hawtree has designed the course among the pines in an ambience of harmony and beauty. It has been very well arranged with a lot of flexibility of the tees. It is a brilliant course and a wonderful experience for golfers of all levels.
Pals Golf Club runs along the sparkling white sands of Pals beach and is also enclosed by dense green pine forests. The terrain being sandy soaks in the rain water quickly, making the course very comfortable for play at any time of the year.
The design is classic, and there are several bunkers which defend the greens and the trees have also been used extensively in the layout. The pine forest adds to the challenge for the golfers as fairways become unapproachable, with the branches hindering the movement of the ball.
This 18 hole course is very close to the Emporda and the Serres de Pals golf courses which makes it an ideal destination for a golf vacation. The course is also used as a club for PGA European Tour Qualifying Schools.
Platja de Pals clubhouse is welcoming with excellent snack bar service right infront of the 9th and 10 th hole, with a magnificent view of the course.
