Costa Ballena Golf Course
Costa Ballena Golf Course was designed by Jose Maria Olazabal and is a lovely links course set beside the Atlantic Ocean and the rest on flat parkland.
Costa Ballena has three nine hole courses, along the coast, through the sand dunes or in the parkland area, which are generally long and mainly flat with enormous tee areas and greens.
The course is enjoyed by many golfers visiting for a weekend and staying at the Cosya Ballena Hotel next to the course.
Week days are much quieter (unless it is a Spainish holiday).
Water comes into play on a number of holes and on a windy day it can be a real test of golfing skills.
