El Rompido Golf Course
El Rompido has two courses The North and The South both flat and attractive courses surrounded by protected natural marsh land and with splendid views of the Atlantic Ocean.
El Rompido South is sprawled across parkland and marshland and while precision and caution are neaded on the front nine the back nine are more open.
There is an interesting walk from the 8th to the 9th where you can see freshwater crabs and an abundance of bird life from a 650ft pontoon over the protected marshland.
El Rompido North is a testament to how well this resort is integrated to the surrounding area that local authority granted a license.
This is a very varied course with the front nine having many tight drives and the back nine being shorter but accuracy needed to the small target greens.
