El Paraiso Golf Course
El Paraiso Golf Course was designed by Gary Player and is a very friendly club offering a challenge to players of all levels. The fairways are wide but the bordering heavy rough is punishing.
El Paraiso is said be a traditional British style club run by good management and having a friendly atmosphere.
Built on hilly terrain in the Paraiso Valley, the course winds its way around two lakes and is traversed by streams.
As well as the heavy rough running along the fairways there are hundreds of trees and strategically placed bunkers.
The sixth hole is regarded the signature hole; a par 5 dogleg left where your drive must steer clear of two well positioned bunkers and your second shot must be aimed left to avoid a watery end in one of the lakes.

El Paraiso is a cracking course and we enjoyed it very much. Good mix of holes and we were a four ball of different handicaps and it was a challenge and enjoyable for all of us.
