La Cala Golf Resort
La Cala Golf Resort has three different courses and is home to the David Leadbetter Golf Academy.
The North course is a challenging championship course.
The South course is in a spectacular setting and is more target style golf.
The newest course is Europa which while still dramatic is easier for the average golfer.
La Cala is the only resort on the Costa del Sol with three 18 hole courses. All three are set in beautiful landscape and are a very enjoyable round of golf.
La Cala Golf North (Americas) Course
La Cala North, also called the Americas Course, is a championship layout and a real challenge from the back tees, however, its wide fairways and varied tee positions make it pleasant for all levels of golfers. Some of the greens are elevated thus the placing of the approach shot must be precise.

La Cala Golf South (Asia) Course
La Cala South, also called the Asia course, is in a spectacular setting and is challenging to all levels of golfers, rewarding accuracy rather than power.
La Cala Golf Europa
Europa is the most recent course and a lot of attention was paid to protecting the native plants, no trees were removed and only one was transplanted.
The Ojen River plays a part on eight of the holes cutting across three. It has generous fairways and the greens are slightly bigger than the other two courses thus easier for the average golfer.
The resort is also home to one of David Leadbetter Golf Schools, lots of other facilities and the beautiful and relaxing 5 star La Cala Resort Hotel.

La Cala Golfer Reviews
La Cala North - Best out the three courses to be challenged in my opinion great panaramic viws of the courses and surrounding mountains. The course is the toughest of the three and you need to play well to score.

La Cala South - Enjoyed this the most, more forgiving and not as hard as the North.
