Lauro Golf Course
Lauro Golf Course is set in beautiful parkland of pine, citrus and olive trees, testing a golfer’s accuracy, with beautiful views of the Mijas Mountains and valleys.
The course is 300m above sea level and 12km inland from Malaga airport and adjoins the protected forest area of Sierra de Mijas.
The original eighteen holes of this parkland course are set on a plateau and have a number of water hazards and deceptive holes such as the 4th where the steep slope to the green makes the pin seem closer than it really is.
Lauro golf is a very scenic round of golf and is known as one of the best courses on the coast.
The 27 holes are built around a beautifully restored farm house which serves as the clubhouse and has a lovely old Andalucian patio perfect for lunch or after round drinks.
