Mijas Golf Course
Two of the most popular courses are found at Mijas Golf. Los Lagos (Lakes) is the longer with plenty of water hazards while Los Olivos (olives) offers more variety in its holes and olive trees.
Both courses (opened 8 years apart) are typical Robert Trent Jones Creations testing golfers tee shots on the wide but short fairways.
Mijas Golf Los Lagos Course
Los Lagos Is the older, longer and wider course which as its name suggests has several water hazards.
Despite being par 71 it is one of the longest courses on the coast and giving the general impression of an open feel.
The greens are slick and generally raised with either a lake or bunker protecting them.
Mijas Golf Los Olivos Course
Los Olivos is shorter, tighter with the undulating fairways lined by olive trees. It provides an enjoyable round with its par 5´s and par 3´s offering an interesting variety.
The greens are generally large and so are the twisting bunkers around them.
Mijas Golf has a typical Andulucian style clubhouse with restaurant, bar and a beautiful vine covered patio area, perfect for after your round.

Mijas Golfer Reviews
Enjoy both the courses. Played this year after a couple of years off. Courses were looking good but still a slow round. It is always busy and the bar after. Great two days though.
John Hart Oct 5th 2007
Mijas allowed the buggy on the course, this is always a bonus.
Archie Smith 2nd August 2007
