Monte Mayor Golf Course
Monte Mayor Golf Course is a spectacular golf course set in a high mountain valley. Every hole is not only challenging but provides some breath taking scenery.
Monte Mayor was designed by Malaga native Jose Gancedo, Gomez whose philosophy is "Why move the earth when a fairway should follow the natural contours".
The fairways meander through the mountain valley, making it a very hilly course, with ravines, gullies, thick vegetation and general uneven terrain.
Add some water hazards and possible windy conditions and this target golf style course becomes very difficult.
This is maybe a challenging course but it’s interesting and the scenery is spectacular, so it’s well worth the trip into the countryside to play.
