Santa Ponsa Golf Course hosted the Balearic Open on six occasions between 1988 and 1998 when it was part of the European PGA Tour.
Santa Ponsa has three courses with one open to the public. Santa Ponsa is a very popular Mallorca golfing resort with many well know celebrities and even royalty staying and playing here when visiting the Island.
The fairways are sloped but wide and big tee shots can be enjoyed.
There is water on this course which comes into play on five of the holes. It is an interesting and demanding course with the 590 m 10th hole one of the longest in Europe.
The course flows through a large golf urbanization of much sort after properties and has a great clubhouse to enjoy the 19th.
