The Front 9 Holes of Roda Golf Course
Hole 1: The course starts with a par 5 with a large bunker protecting the right corner. The green is elevated and has a bunker on the left which starts on the fairway. A good opening hole to test and enjoy.
Hole 2: A long 203 meter par 3. A large bunker on the right side protects the elevated green.
Hole 3: The tee shot needs to be down the middle between two bunkers on an elevated landing area. The green is elevated again and has a deep bunker on the left.
Hole 4: A similar hole to the one before with bunkers to avoid from the tee shot and around the green.
Hole 5: A short par 5 dogleg to the lefty where the hole opens up if clearing the bunker on the left. The green can be attacked on the second shot and if short left or right a chip and a put should be ok.
Hole 6: a straight hole needing a tee shot down the middle. The green has deep bunker protection so best to hit the green.
Hole 7: 176 meter par 3 hole where the green is an island and in front of the clubhouse and hotel.
Hole 8: Another straight down the middle hole with an undulating green and deep bunkers protecting.
Hole 9: The green can be seen from the tee but the shot to play is to the left for the best approach shot. The green undulates and has bunker protection and the lake on the left hand side.
The Back 9 Holes of Roda Golf Course
Hole 10: This hole offers a wide fairway with a bunker on the left. It is a par 5 443 meter hole with many a bunker on the left and right as you approach the green.
Hole 11: Par 3 179 meter hole with the tee shot played to the elevated green.
Hole 12: A short but interesting hole where the green once again is surrounded by water.
Hole 13: 150 meter par 3 with water and bunkers in play beside the green.
Hole 14: Another wide fairway to enjoy. The tee shot down the middle and then the second to the elevated green.
Hole 15: Another short hole with bunkers across the fairway making the tee short choice of lay up or attack. The green is elevated so remember the extra club, or chipping length.
Hole 16: The landing area for the tee shot is narrow and the green has two bunkers protecting the front and the lake at the back for over hit shots.
Hole 17: straight forward hole with a couple of fairway bunkers to avoid from the tee shot and a large undulating green with the left side protected by a bunker.
Hole 18: A great hole to finish with. A par 5 hole where the tee shot has a small landing area between two bunkers. The left side is preferred for the approach shot to the green which is tricky due to the lake.
