Dear Trevor,
Many thanks for getting in contact and I applaud your attempts, presumably as the organiser to ensure a smooth trip for you and your colleagues. I have often been on the end of empty promises and it makes a lot of sense to check.

I have dealt with Sungolfer for three years and Graham and Catherine and they ensure the trips I take to Portugal and Tenerife each year are organised to my requirements.

Apart from the simplicity of the whole thing, email your dates , possible venues and preferred tee times, pay and then receive back the vouchers which the courses then take as your receipts, the three key aspects which I researched and I suspect is at the heart of the matter with yourselves are these.

Are they safe and secure ?

I can only say in the in my eyes they score a 10. I have also met several of their other clients and the resort management on holiday and they reflect very much that "they do what it says on the can"

Are they value for money?

This is a definite 11 out of ten, I have yet to find another internet site that can beat them and I have tried..!!!! I would also suggest the local contacts may be able to match them once they know what you have been offered but I am great believer in having my tee times in the bag before I get to the resort to start haggling.

Do they provide the after service you may require?

On a positive note I really don't know , since everything they have been asked to do is done! I can say though that e:mail updates and the occasional advice on courses worth playing give me the confidence that should I ever need it Sungolfer would be there to help.

I have decided to send this via my business address for the key reason that I am in the business development game and client satisfaction is very high on my agenda so I wanted you to know I am an independent reference not linked other that as a client to Sungolfer and hopefully this will give you and your colleagues the peace of mind you need.

Good day Trevor,

I have been travelling to Costa del Sol for at least 10 years, often twice a year, and have dealt with a number of companies. I first dealt with Sungolfer two years ago and have used them four times since.

I have found them particularly attentive, honest and very competitive. They are prompt to respond, and have sorted out any changes to my schedule, however fickle.

We had a situation on our most recent trip, last weekend in fact, where our apartments decided to close for the winter at short notice.

This could have caused a great deal of grief, but Sungolfer dealt with the situation and booked comparable accommodation with no fuss.

We were also delayed and were struggling to make our tee time.

I emailed Sungolfer from the airport and they notified the course and rearranged.

They take the hassle out of organising, and even arrange pre payment of buggies. This can save embarrassment as some courses run out in high season. I hope you find this helpful, I can only state as I find, but I have no fear recommending Sungolfer and find Grahame particularly reliable.

Hi Graham, just to say many thanks for all the work you and your team put into making our golfing trip the success it was.

Following our near disaster with other so called "Golf operators" it was such a relief to find Sungolfers!!

Your driver was waiting for us at the airport and from that moment onwards all our transport was right on time and we were ferried around by first class drivers and in first class vehicles.

Obviously the courses we played hold Sungolfer in high esteem as they were always very attentive as soon as we arrived and learnt who we had booked through.

Once again thank you to you and all your staff for the first class job you carried out in enabling my group to enjoy a great week of golf on the Costa Del Sol!!

I am in the Hotel trade myself, and as such value follow on feedback from my guests, so again I thank you for your interest in my opinion.

Both Grahame and Catherine have spent time on the phone discussing our requirements, and even though there are only the two of us booking five games of golf, nothing has been too much trouble.

One course I played would have being €72 at the clubhouse, €58 with the hotel discount and €42 with sungolfer.They even fax reservations to the golfcources if required. Need I say more?

Santa Maria and Santa Clara were fantastic courses and we thoroughly enjoyed playing them. Alhaurin was also a lovely course but it's not so much fun when you lose over 20 balls on a round!! It was the hardest course I've ever played!

Thanks again for organising the golf. It was another excellent trip and we had a great few days, especially enjoying the Europa course at La Cala, which was the one we had not played before.

Quite an impressive set up there.

It was a bit of a mistake squeezing in 9 holes yesterday morning before heading off to the airport.

We did play at Cabopino golf and I am sure we were the only four people on the course. As you know it was a little bit damp underfoot yesterday.

I will be in touch again when we start to plan our trip for next year when we are hoping to come for a bit longer.

I would like to say thank you for your help regarding booking tee times this summer, it worked out very well and we had some very good days on the courses.

For your information regarding other costumers, the Canyamel course was very good and the greens were the fastest I have ever played but what was very disappointing was that they did not have a course guide and you need that to play the course. But otherwise it was very good.

I have to recommend the Son Vida course, it was really a great experience.

Thank you for your help and I hope to get back to you next summer.

Catherine, yes the return journey was pretty seamless if not a little deflating. ( no-one likes their holiday to end! )

All the boys had a hassle free holiday and enjoyed thoroughly all the courses and the transfers were also perfect.

(Plenty of time for a couple of beers pre and apres golf! Please thank Michael again on our behalf.)

I was meaning to Email you myself to thank you for everything but you beat me to it!

Everything from your side was fantastic; we attempted to call you on departure but couldn’t get through to thank you personally.

Without you swift and patient help we would not have been able to carry on with the trip as if nothing had happened.
(Although a change of clothes was lacking a bit!)
The golf courses were amazing and the accommodation comfortable, with us now having some serious plans in mind to make it further down the coast.

The only request I have is to make my short game better next time!
